Shaw's in Schaumburg
This is the newest of the Shaw’s restaurants, and is modeled after a 1940's-style warehouse with an Art Deco flare. Located in the Streets of Woodfield, it is the largest of the Lettuce Entertain You restaurants. Shaw's Crab House in Schaumburg features two distinct, full-service restaurants. Shaw's main dining room serves more than 40 seasonally fresh seafood entrees as well as Prime Steak. Seasonal specialties include Fresh Alaskan Red King Crab Legs, Copper River Salmon, Nantucket Cape Scallops and Florida Black Grouper. In addition, our chef's smooth sauces and fresh vegetable pairings make for unique presentations that bring out the essence of our premium seafood.
The Main Dining Room
In Schaumburg’s Main Dining Room, you'll find the original Shaw's Crab House - a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is uniquely post-war with splashes of art deco. Globe-light fixtures adorn the dining room while sounds of Duke Ellington linger in the background. The high ceilings and exposed beams add to the warmth and grandeur that is distinctive to Shaw's. The main dining room bar is a sophisticated annex where meeting friends before dinner or sharing an after dinner drink is intimate and warm.
The Oyster Bar
There's also the more casual Oyster Bar where "Crab is King" and there’s room to savor the moment with the lively crowd that gathers around the grand scale bar. It is here the after work set gathers to unwind and check out the suburban scene while enjoying the best brews, fresh sushi and raw bar. The daily-changing selection of oysters is nearly global in scope.
Our oysters are flown in fresh from waters off the Northwest coast and Northeast including the pristine Canadian Maritimes. There are actually 5 different species of oysters that contribute to all the varieties of oysters available in season at Shaw’s. From the smallest Olympia (Ostrea Lurida) with its nutty and sweet complexity to the meaty Imperial Eagle (Crassostrea Gigas) with its succulent cucumber finish, Shaw’s buyer’s bring in the best.
Every night from 4:30-6:00pm during “Oyster Hours” all of Shaw’s fresh shucked Oysters are 1/2 off. It’s a great excuse to try one of our regional or European draught beers and slurp a few.

Shaw's has been recognized repeatedly as one of the leading seafood restaurants in the country. But just because Shaw's features a large variety of crab, lobster, and shrimp dishes - as well as fresh fish and prime steaks, don’t forget to save room for Shaw's famous key lime pie. It’s the best.
