Shaw's is The King of Crab. Blue Crabs from the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts, Maryland Soft Shell Crabs, Stone Crabs from Florida, Dungeness Crabs from Washington and Oregon, and the majestic Alaskan King Crab are all flown in fresh to celebrated all year-round at Shaw's Crab Festival.
Triple Temptation Redemption
Shaw's Crab House has been serving the Crab Festival "Triple Temptation" for three years now during the annual January season of the Washington Dungeness crabs. The three course "family-style" dinner has been so popular that we've added it to the daily menu. This Crab Feast will send your senses to paradise. New England Clam Chowder is followed by Dungeness Crab (in season), Alaskan King Crab and Maryland Style Crab Cakes, accompanied by Au Gratin Potatoes, Creamed Spinach and Cole Slaw. All of this and Key Lime Pie for $39.95 per person. (Minimum of 2) That's salvation Shaw's style.
January is Dungeness
As the season opens from the Aleutian Islands down to Monterey Bay, local crabbers are steaming their vessels into these coastal waters in pursuit of the Dungeness Crab. The weather is raw and the stakes are high. From this bounty Shaw's gets the freshest of the catch. Taken live from their tank, Shaw's prepares the Dungeness Crabs daily, and serves them chilled with a Mustard Mayonnaise Sauce and fresh lemon. They're the prize of the Pacific and taste absolutely divine.
Shaw's celebrated Chef Yves Roubaud will be presenting several crab specialties on the menu throughout the year. Enjoy Maryland Style Crab Cakes, steamed Alaskan Red King Crab Legs, Jumbo Lump Crab Cake and Florida Stone Crab Claws in seasonal preparations. It's time for bliss. It's time for Crab.
